
Former spokesperson to Peter Obi 2023 presidential campaign, Kenneth Okonkwo has lashed out on his one-time master, surprising Nigerians.

He was responding to Mr Peter Obi’s recent comment about church night vigils.
The former Labour Party candidate had said that the practice of church night vigils should better be stopped and the time converted to nigh shifts in order to enhance productivity.
The remark went down well with some people, but there are others who condemned Obi for saying such a thing.
Kenneth Okonkwo was among those who didn’t like Obi’s remark, and the video clip on which he condemned his former master have since gone viral.
“I will never say I will convert a church into anything; it’s not your business,” Okonkwo stated. “I am a workaholic, but prayer is my power.”
The two men have fallen apart recently following the unending internal conflict within Labour Party.

Late July, Kenneth Okonkwo part way with his former boss, Mr Peter Obi and equally dumped the Labour Party which he laboured hard to build during the 2023 general elections.
He cited as his reason the internal crisis rocking the party and Obi’s inability to address the issues.
