Probable is arraigned at Isabo High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State today.
The controversial street singer, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, had been on the run for days.
On February 5 officials of Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) were on their routine works of inspecting how members of public comply with regulatory standards.
But Portable wouldn’t allow them – about three of them – to do check on him. When the officials tried to force it, the singer return with attacks. His associates beat the hell out of the officials, only allowing them to flee with enough humiliation.
So far police has arrested nine of those involved in the assault, charging them with offences that range from felony and arm violence to obstruction and attempted murder.
Then the singer himself went into hiding until he was declared wanted on February 18. He turned himself in to the police in Lagos; they transferred him to Ogun State Command yesterday and today, they arraigned him.
He is being charged for orchestrating assault on government officials.
