Simon Ekpa’s deputy reveals how he’ll be freed from detention

Deputy to Mr Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra Government In Exile, Mrs Ngozi Ezeobika Orabueze, speaks again on Ekpa’s detention in Finland.

Ekpa is presently being detained in Finland following his arrest on allegations bothering on terrorism and stoking tension in South East with social media.

In her Christmas message, directed to Biafrans, Orabueze urged their followers to remain steadfast as she must make sure the controversial separatist was released.

“As we celebrate this festive season, I extend my warmest Christmas wishes to every law-abiding Biafran, and especially to the Biafra Defense Forces for their unwavering defense of the territory of the United States of Biafra against the occupying Nigerian terrorist state actors,” she said.

Simon Ekpa came to prominence after the original founder of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was arrested in Kenya in 2021.

Since then, Ekpa has commanded several arbitrary sit-at-home order which his followers in Nigeria enforced with shocking brutality.

Now that he is absent, Orabueze has started talking tough and making promises – just like his predecessors.
