Breaking: Nwanjoku names CoS, other key appointments

Prince Ugo Nwanjoku, Chairman of Aninri local government area, made fresh appointments, weeks into his administration.

During their inauguration earlier today, Nwanjoku charged the new appointees to take their jobs seriously while also reminding them of his “business unusual” approach.

Taking effect today, Ernest Arukwe becomes the chief of staff in the new administration.

Obiora Nwinya and Okechukwu Nwonye filled the slots of special advisers on political matters and special duties respectively.

Also, Nnaemeka Onu was appointed the chief protocol.

The immediate former deputy chairman of Aninri, Okey Njokuti and others were equally given some portfolios in the administration.

What is remarkable in the present administration, however, is the caliber of people to fill Nwanjoku’s cabinet and the unique philosophy informing such appointments.

Days ago, the chairman’s media office announced the inauguration of Victor Okoro – a fantastic guy – as the Secretary of the Local Government.

All the men inaugurated today fully reflected the chairman’s ‘square peg in a square hole’ criteria for making choosing his cabinet members.
