Actor Yomi Fabiyi flees Nigeria after Mohbad’s killers targets him

Those that killed late singer Mohbad are now after actor Yomi Fabiyi to kill him, the outspoken actor said on an Instagram Post.

“I escaped assassination two days ago, and they still planned to kill me tonight (Tuesday).

“If they had succeeded, I would have been buried tomorrow. I had to jump on the next available flight because I had been marked for assassination.

“For the first time in my life, I know they are going to take my life,” Fabiyi said.

He had planned to stage peaceful protest on Monday at the national assembly gate in Ikeja, Lagos. The protest was supposed to coincide with the coroner inquest investigating Mohbad’s death.

However, he later cancelled the protest.

Numerous accusations have trailed Mohbad’s tragic death even more than one year after.

His former management, his family, and even his wife have been prime suspects although there haven’t been any substantial proofs.

Since then, actor Yomi Fabiyi has been unrelenting in pursuing justice for the late singer.
