The chieftain of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), in a statement released on Wednesday, explicitly called for police investigation into what he described as “illegal” activities by pro-Wike lawmakers and their godfather.
The lawmakers contradicted themselves about party loyalties even while under oath, Clark said.
Recall that the brewing conflict between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his predecessor Nyesom Wike erupted into major crisis on December 11, 2024 when 27 members of the State House of Assembly announced they were defecting to All Progressives Congress (APC).
Since then, the Wike allies, alongside their godfather, have proceeded to unleash many more mayhem on Fubara administration.
Clark has been vocal against Wike from the beginning, accusing the FCT Minister of sowing discord to destabilize Niger Delta region.
However, Wike is listening to neither Edwin Clark nor other prominent voices across the nation. He has, instead, continued to pursue the agenda of forcing Fubara to surrender or to remain uncomfortable until his tenure elapsed.
