Alaska Senator who voted for convict Trump Congratulates him

The whole situation around Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski is really pathetic as Donald Trump won the U.S Presidential election.

Murkowski, a Republican, had been totally against Trump until his surprising comeback on Tuesday U.S Presidential election.

During Trump’s travails the time the Congress moved to indict him, Murkowski was among the seven Republican senators who voted to convict the now President-elect.

Now, only four years later and a lot has changed. Senator Murkowski who had backed Trump Republican rival during the parties primaries, Nikki Haley, swerved to like the winner.

“I congratulate [President-elect] on his clear victory. Alaskans, and Americans, have chosen him to lead our nation forward for the next four years, amid many serious challenges that will take all of us to overcome,” she wrote last night on X.

Against the mainstream media’s projections, Donald Trump beat her Democratic Party rival in the keenly contested election.

Trump garnered 72,560,841 popular votes and 295 electoral votes while Kamala Haris got 226 electoral votes which came short of the 270 electoral votes threshold.

She also scored 67,878,826 popular votes – 47.6% of the total vote cast – as against Trump’s 50.9%.

So far, world leaders – both those who love Trump and they that hated him in the past – have called to identify with the next world most powerful man.
