Breaking the news this morning through his media office, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, the chairman of Aninri local government area, said the piece of land is for establishing Aninri Farm Estate.
“It is in line with His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s effort to make Enugu a food-sufficient state,” Nwanjoku said, added that Aninri, under his watch, is fully ready to delivering the governor’s promises for the good of the people.
Aside his milestone in agriculture before the 2,000 hecters donation, Prince Nwanjoku has since embarked in massive infrastructural programme, reconstructing nearly 200 rural roads across the council area.
