Asake gifts N5 million to wounded policewoman in the viral ‘Epp me’ clip
Popular singer Asake has extended a helping hand Mrs. Helen Utabor, the policewoman responsible for the viral “epp me epp me, he dey carry me go where I no know” viral clip.
Earlier, comedian I Go Save shared Mrs. Utabor’s ordeal on his Instagram page saying she need financial assistance of about N1.5 million after truck knocked her down as she was directing traffic in Edo State.
Since then social media users have rallied to encourage Asake, the YBNL star, to extend help to the woman.
Many insisted that Asake own it to the woman as a royalty to help her since she is behind the viral ‘epp me epp me’ phrase as an intro in his hit song ‘Peace Be Unto You.’
But Asake is a big guy. Instead of the asked N1.5 million, gave Mrs. Utabor N5 million. I Go Save who confirmed this to his fan on Instagram added that the ailing woman is improving quickly.
