Controversial crossdresser Bobrisky (Real name: Idris Okuneye) has reacted to the rumour that he had to pay whooping N15 million bribe for the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to drop money laundering charge against him.

Recall that EFCC arraigned Bobrisky for abusing naira, and later said he was committed to prison.

But a audio with a voice resembling that of the crossdresser has since gone viral. The purported voices were those of Bobrisky and someone else.

She was heard talking about unnamed EFCC officials who collected N15 million bribe from her to drop the money laundering charge against him.

Reacting on Instagram, the crossdresser denied bribing EFCC officials and insisted he served his prison terms.

“My attention has been drawn to fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 million naira, and that I was never in prison… I didn’t pay any EFCC [official] money [it] is a very big lie. I served my terms in full and I came out. Discard any false information,” Bobrisky posted.

Meanwhile EFCC chairman, Ola Olukoyede, has ordered immediate investigation into the allegation.
