Borno residents now ride horses or trek to work amid fuel crisis

As things keep getting out of hand for ordinary Nigexarians, made worst by the sudden hike in fuel price, Borno residents have resorted to trekking, and riding bicycles and horses as mean of mobility.

One of the residents, a civil servant, who spoke to newsmen said the cost of transportation has double since two days.

Recall that Dangote Refinery began to roll out fuel on Tuesday, promising that the petroleum product would reach filing stations across the country within 48 hours. Fuel price had jumped following the announcement.

In Enugu State, a liter of fuel cost between N1,000 and N1,200. But while Enugu residents may be relatively rich they are still feeling the heat of President Bola Tinubu policies.
