Confusion as Nnamdi Kanu reportedly escapes from DSS facility; facts emerge
FCT, Abuja – It still been reported across all social media, especially Facebook, that leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has escaped from the custody of Department of State Service (DSS) in Abuja on Thursday.
“Breaking news: Nnamdi Kanu escapes from DSS custody with case file. “According to reliable sources, Kanu’s escape was executed with meticulous planning and precision, catching the authorities off guard. Details surrounding the escape remain murky, with speculation ranging from insider assistance to external support,” the report read.

So far mainstream media have not reported the alleged escape, casting doubt on the authenticity of the report.
Nnamdi Kanu has been detained in DSS facility since June 2021 when he was unlawfully extradited from Kenya by Nigerian authorities.
Although he has been brought to court multiple times, Federal Government has shown open reluctance to either free him or sentence him over the alleged treasonable felony.
