The presidency has reacted to the escalating exchanges of weaponry between Iran and Israel.

It said it planned to evacuate Nigerian citizens living in Lebanon.

The conflict between the two powers upped higher yesterday when Iran fired hundreds of deadly missiles into Israel, deepening the concern about all-out regional war.

The attack was the second direct confrontation towards the Zionist nation, after the April’s attack when Tehran launched over 300 missiles at its foe.

The spokesperson for Israel Defence Forces, Daniel Hagari, vowed to deal with Iran in retaliation.

In a statement released yesterday, Dada Olusegun, President Bola Tinubu’s special adviser on social media, said Federal Government has directed all Nigeria’s nationals in Lebanon to contact the Nigerian mission for profiling, documentation, and eventual evacuation.
