Gov. Uzodinma welcomes remains of Ohanaeze President Iwuanyanwu

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma just received the remains of Ohanaeze President, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

Iwuanyanwu, 11th president-general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, died on July 4, 2024 at 81.

His body left Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport on Wednesday.

The elder statesman would be buried today at his hometown of Atta in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State on today November 1.

Receiving his remains at Government House Owerri, Uzodinma showered praise on him, describing him as an exceptional leader whose political skills benefited a lot of Igbo people.
