Governor Umo Eno’s Wife dies “after brief illness.” Details emerge

The wife of Akwa Ibom state governor, Pastor Mrs. Umo Eno, died yesterday after a brief illness.

She reportedly died in presence of her family.

Disclosing the loss in a statement released by the State’s Commissioner for Information, Mr Ini Ememobong, the bereaved requested some privacy while they mourn the dead.

But the statement also included that Governor Umo Eno is still dedicated to the service of his state.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, following an illness,” the statement read.
