Buba dragged the commissioner to Kano Upper Shari’a, seeking justice over adultery with his wife. But he didn’t get justice.
The Presiding judge, Ibrahim Sarki Yola, while ruling on the matter, struck out the case. He said Buba could not prove the allegation with evidence.
However, Buba wasn’t happy with the Court’s obvious partiality. Speaking with newsmen in Kano, he said he had presented to the police 854 pictures, over 100 video clips, over 200 WhatsApp voice notes, over 500 hours of call records.
“Most of these evidences I got them through my wife, Tasleem,” Buba said, insisting he was cheated in the court and that he would have to leave everything in the hand of God.
Reacting to the development, Buba’s lawyer, Rabi’u Sidi, also accused the court of miscarriage of justice.
According to him, Kano Upper Shari’a didn’t even bother to invite them during the verdict. It just passed its judgement and Buba and he heard about it in the news.
“We are a very important and necessary party to this case, despite this nobody communicated with us, nobody told us that there will be any sitting in the court, we just heard the ruling in the news,” the lawyer said.

Recall that Kano state Hisbah board arrested the commissioner sleeping with a married woman in an uncompleted building on August 17, 2024.
The court ruling is just another example of the inhuman treatment the common man face in Nigeria day by day. Justice is for sale in Nigeria and its so expensive that its exclusively reserved for the rich.
