• Man stabbed his wife to death over little matter
Lagos State Police Command said it has arrested one Peter Dike who killed his wife yesterday, March 19.
Dike had a heated argument with his wife at their apartment in Oke Ira Ilogbo Eremi community, Morogbo in Lagos State.
According to eyewitness account, the man went inside the kitchen in anger and came out carrying a knife.
He stabbed his wife. She died for losing a lot of blood, the eyewitness said.
The spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the incident. He said the woman’s body has been deposited in the mortuary at General Hospital in Badagry, while the case is soon to be transferred to State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti Yaba.
A woman stabs her husband to death today
Today, March 20, 2025, is a bad day – for Muhammad Mallum and in the eyes of his family. His wife stabbed him to death around 5.30am today.
The incident happened at Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area in Borno State.
According to the story, Muhammad Mallum, 50, had little problem with his wife. Before much could happen, his wife – Falmata Muhammad, 44 – attacked him with a knife. She stabbed him in the chest with a knife, killing him instantly.
He was rushed to General Hospital, Gwoza, but the effort was useless. He had died.
Relatives of the police called Gwoza Police Division. The suspect was arrested while late Muhammad’s remains were deposited in the mortuary for autopsy.
Police is promising full investigation, and threatening serious prosecution.
