The 133 cardinals around the world have finally elected a new Pope. White smoke was seen coming from Sistine Chapel in Vatican city where the cardinals are casting their votes.
The rising of the white smoke is the only way the outside world would know that the chosen has been completed. All the cardinals are barred from coming out, and every means – such as phone – they could contact the outside world has already been seized.
The new Pope would be in charge of the 5.4 billion Catholic faithfuls worldwide. Its already obvious he can’t be a black man.

Later U.S. Cardinal Robert Prevost has appeared before the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica as the new Pope. He chose the name Pope Leo XIV.
