
Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, chairman of Aninri local government area, said he was poised to start construction of three agricultural markets that would spread across the three main geopolitical zones in the council.

He disclosed this, Saturday, during the inaugural ceremony of one of the council’s apex sociocultural group, Uhueze Nenwe Ambassadors.
“Soon, we will start construction of three agricultural markets. While we want all three zones reflected, I’m pleased to inform you that we shall be siting one here (Obeagu Uhueze),” Prince Nwanjoku said to a resounding applause.
He also pledged to install additional 200KVA transformer in the community in answer to the people’s calls for electricity.
“Since we assumed office we have been doing our best to make sure we work and that we are not biased,” the chairman continued, added that Obeagu Uhueze Nenwe road is one of multiple rural road projects the council already marked for asphalt-stanadard construction.
Earlier before the event, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in commissioning various Type-2 hospitals and smart schools all across Aninri.
