Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku said Gov. Peter Mbah conducted best election as PDP Congress held in South East

Chairman of Aninri local government area, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, has commended Enugu State governor, Peter Mbah for his roles in the success of the “best congress ever” for his party.

Nwanjoku disclosed this through a statement from his Media Office this morning.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held its South East Zonal Congress at Okpara Square on Wednesday. The Congress, adjudged to be free and fair, Chief Ali Odafe emerged as chairman to lead the Working Committee.

“I commend the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Peter Ndubisi Mbah, for the smooth and peaceful transfer of power within the party hierarchy.

“The reelection of Chief Ali Odafe was apt, and truly reflected our great party’s commitment in delivery all-around excellence. I have no doubt that South-East PDP is on its feet once again,” the statement read in part.

PDP Congress: Peter Mbah, Wabara among stakeholders in attendance

The Peoples Democratic Party held its South East Congress yesterday at Okpara Square in Enugu State. Peter Mbah, the State governor, as well as the chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees, Adolphus Wabara, were among the notable delegates.

However, none of the 22 positions were contested; they were all filled with unopposed candidates. Chief Ali Odafe came back as the chairman while Uche Ugwu retained his position as the Zonal Secretary.
