Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, the Chairman of Aninri local government area, has sworn in five supervisors.
The swearing in ceremony took place at the chairman’s office at Ndeabor earlier today. Present in the event were the key officials in the administration, including Mr Victor Okoro, the Secretary to the Local Government; Nike Ekpete, the chairman’s Special Assistant on public enlightenment; the Chief of Staff among others.
As of last week, Prince Nwanjoku has appointed 116 persons since he assumed office in October 2024. The additional five appointees would bring the number to 121 persons empowered, making him the “most friendly chairman” in Aninri politics since the times of former Sen Ike Ekweremadu.

- Ani Isreal: Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure
- Uju Ikpenwa: Supervisor for Budget & Finance
- Ahamefuna George Ajah: Supervisor for Education
- Friday Ojukwu: Supervisor for Agriculture
- Ike Christian: Supervisor for Health
