Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara has been fighting bitter political battles over control of PDP structures in the State.
The protracted faceoff has since split the party, leading to 27 House of Assembly members loyal to the FCT Minister announcing their defection to opposition APC.
Reacting to the development, Dr Okocha told newsmen yesterday in Abuja that Wike has not joined APC.
And the 27 lawmakers have not joined either, the APC chairman added.
People say the former Rivers State governor has decamped to the APC. They also say that the 27 lawmakers currently fighting with Fubara have defected to the APC. “I need to make this clear to everyone. Much as I wish to have them in my fold, none of them has agreed to join us. “I tried to woo them, but they kept vacillating and did not,” he said.
In another development, the 27 pro-Wike lawmakers the FCT minister, have ousted four of their members loyal to the governor.
The pro-Wike lawmakers declared their (4 lawmakers) seat vacant, citing the absence from sittings for over 152 days.
