Aides to Senator Osita Ngwu are responsible for the recent campaign of calumny, dirty propaganda and attacks against the Chairman of Aninri Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, The Mail learned from reliable sources.

“They are some fools working within Senator Osita Ngwu’s circle,” said an insider source who pleaded anonymity.
While Senator Ngwu is aware of “his boys'” mischief, the source said, it was believed that he isn’t sponsoring them.
Recall that one Mr. James Ajah and Mr. Melije Ignatius, who are aides to the senator, publicly called out Nwanjoku last week, tacitly accusing him of mishandling Aninri treasury. Some of their network has since joined in the effort that is now punctured in the public.
Aninri council of traditional rulers, in a statement released two days ago, called for some politicians to warned their “boys,” adding that Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku has proven himself a powerful and working leader.
“In two months Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku has embarked on so many projects – all of them great and highly impactful. At least, all the 10 wards are witnessing transformation. Last week the chairman flagged off 156 rural roads and we can see work going on everyday. This is in addition to the unprecedented development at Ndeabor headquarters.
“Under two months, we are seeing the effects of the young man’s work in security, in education, in electrification and in so many other areas.
“We, therefore, call for caution and restraint. Politician needs to guide their aides well. Instead of fighting each other, let our leaders come together as one,” the statement read.

Another source who is familiar with the development also called on Senator Osita Ngwu to not allow his people to create tension where there should be none.
“I’ve personally begged them not to circulate the fake WAEC result, but the ‘big boys’ among us refused to listen.
“It is true that Ugo [Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku] is not paying me; I’m not working for him. But I know that he is a brilliant guy. Forging WAEC result in the name to tarnishing the young man’s image is, first of all, a bad media choice.
“He is one of us and there are many of his classmates out there who know that he did well in his WAEC. He did well in the university.
“You can’t possibly be spending a lot of money and big effort to just to roll out WAEC result that everyone knows is fake,” the source added.
The Mail has contacted Mr. Nnaemeka Onu, the chief protocol to Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, for comments on the purported bad WAEC results.
“The executive chairman of Aninri local government area, Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku, does not have time to spare for cheap lies. He has a lot of our brothers and sisters who wrote WAEC with him. If anyone has any questions he should ask the chairman’s waec co-candidates.
