Sen. Osita Ngwu, Toby Okechukwu, ex-Speaker, others pay last respect to late Mrs. Onyeabochukwu
It was like the gathering of eagles as top politicians in Enugu State, including Sen. Osita Ngwu, Minority Whip of the Senate; Toby Okechukwu, former Minority Whip of the Senate; Abel Chukwu, former Speaker of Enugu State House of Assembly, attended burial ceremony of late Mrs. Agnes Onyeabochukwu.

Mrs. Onyeabochukwu was buried on January 4 in her hometown of Amagu community in Oduma, Aninri local government area of Enugu State.
Describing her as an exemplary woman during his speech at the ceremony, Sen. Ngwu hinted that Mrs. Onyeabochukwu could be immortalized in Enugu West.
“Our mother was a virtuous woman. And she is a caring person per excellence. She’ll remain evergreen; we’ll ever remember her and keep her memory in our hearts,” Ngwu eulogized.
Other dignitaries who also graced the occasion included Ezekiel Chukwu, former Chairman of Aninri; Chidi Ekwe, former Transition Chairman of Aninri; HRH Igwe David Ohabuikem, traditional ruler of Amagu autonomous community; Charles Ngene, among others.

Mrs. Agnes Onyeabochukwu was the stepmother of former Vice-chairman of Aninri local government area, James Onyeabochukwu; mother of Comr. Christian Onyeabochukwu (Udengene) who worked as aide to former Senator Ike Ekweremadu and who is presently the aide to Sen. Osita Ngwu, the Senator representing Enugu West.
