Controversial street singer Portable has called out Fuji icon, Saheed Osupa.
He foamed in a viral video on his Instagram yesterday, calling Osupa “big for nothing.”
The Zazu singer had lifted a line from Osupa song to his own lyric. Osupa and his distributors, who weren’t comfortable with that, reported the rights infringement.
As a result, major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music, took down Portable’s songs.
While he didn’t deny that he lifted a line from Shaheed Osupa, Portable argued that their genres of music are different so it didn’t matter.
“Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip hop. The same way I used a line from your music is the same way I removed three verses from Pasuma.
“But Pasuma never report my song. Keep your distance if you can’t embrace me like the way Pasuma abducted me like his own child. Osupa is a good man,” Portable foamed.
