Be warned. This UK-based Igbo man is allegedly in the business of scamming Nigerians. According to the story, he has been doing that since 2023. And his targets are majorly fellow Nigerians.
One of the victim, an X user ifedayo_johnson, has reported a loss of ₦5.3 million.
Posting her chat with the scammer, whose name is Nnamdi Emmanuel, the user also exposed the victim’s passport.
“If you’ve ever been scammed in a WhatsApp or Telegram group in the UK while trying to exchange currency, there’s a 99.99% chance it’s this guy,” she said.
The post has since gone viral. But more netizens appear to be blaming the poster, and not the scammer.
What on earth would make anyone want to bypass legitimate channels of foreign exchange and go to telegram? Its true that no one is seen supporting Nnamdi. The victims, instead, are seen as fools.
