This was made known on Wednesday morning by Mrs Felicia Ejim, popular leader of women in the council area, during a phone chat with The Mail.
Speaking in local dialect, Mrs Ejim said:
“We are planning a visit to Chief Anayo Obasi. Even though the December 30 event is not all about eating and drinking we want to be with him because he has been very supportive of women and youths all across Aninri.
“He is a good man so we want to be with him as he remembers his late parents,” the women leader said.
Chief Anayo Moses Obasi, Nwachinemere 1 of Awa Kingdom and notable philanthropist, is remembering his late parents, Elder Michael Obasi and Mrs Elizabeth Obasi who both died years ago. A bigwig of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Nwachinemere is presently working with Chief Uche Nnaji in Abuja.
