Gov Mbah’s signs new Executive Order, finally relocates Coal Camp Spare Parts Market

More news about policies of Governor Peter Mbah

Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah has signed new Executive Order, relocating the Coal Camp Spare Parts Market.

Breaking the news minutes ago, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to Governor Peter Mbah, Dan Nwomeh, said the move would take immediate effect. All other industrial and commercial trade activities in the market are also so moved.

The traders are moving to the Enugu International Motor Spare Parts and Allied Traders Park. Its located at the outskirts of the metropolis, between Nsude in Udi and Ogwofia Owa in Ezeagu local government areas in the state.

Reacting, the President of Enugu Motor Spare Parts Dealers Association, Chief Michael Nomeh, hailed Mbah as “the governor who does exactly what he said he would do.”

“We thank the governor for the campaign promise that he has fulfilled. Since the inception of democracy in 1999 to date, there have been so many promises to our people that they will relocate us to the international market. But none of them has kept to their promises,” Nomeh said.

Relocating the Motor Spare Parts Market is one of Governor Mbah’s campaign promises. His business-like approach to governance has since rattled the residents, but the visibly speedy developments across the state also awed them.

The Managing Director of the Enugu State Investment Development Authority, Dr. Sam Ogbu-Nwobodo, also praised the new Executive Order, added that the new site is strategically positioned to exploit number of great trade potentials in the state.

“If you know the location of the new place, it is so strategic. You cannot go from the Middle Belt or South South or Cross River or even from Cameroon to Onitsha without passing through there,” he said.
