A lot of people still find it hard to believe that Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former senator Ike Ekweremadu, was freed from UK prison. But she is, indeed, free and is in Nigeria now.

Recall that UK court found Senator, his wife and one Dr Obinna Obeta guilty for their involvement in organ harvesting. They were sentenced to serve different prison terms. While the trial judge sentenced Beatrice Ekweremadu to six years, the husband got a whole ten years.
DailyPost reported that a competent source confirmed the return of Beatrice Ekweremadu. She returned to Enugu State on Tuesday.
As at the time of filing this report, all the reasons for her surprising released are still on the realm of speculation.
But, before the sudden, inglorious fall, Ekweremadus were very powerful individuals in Nigeria and beyond. His son, Lloyd who is now serving as commissioner for youths and sports in Enugu State, is a lawyer and also an influential personality.
Enugu has been jubilating since yesterday over Mrs Ekweremadu’s return while also praying for the return of the former deputy president of the senate.
