Zamfara Governor gives updates on whereabout of wanted terrorist Bello Turji
Bello Turji, the fleeing terrorist, is hiding along Sokoto axis, Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal said, providing insights into the deteriorating security situation in North West.

Turji has been declared wanted following the killing of bandit kingpin Halilu Sububu by the military.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Governor Lawal said security forces have done enough damages to the terrorists’ capabilities in the zone. Sububu’s death has weakend Turji and represented a big win against the dark forces of banditry, the governor said.

Commending Nigerian military, Governor Dauda Lawal said killing of Sububu was a game changer.
According to him, Sububu was the connecting dot of vast network of terrorist groups in North West. He was well connected in arm sourcing aside sitting on top of extensive resources.
His followers would be unable to operate and their influence would soon fizzle out, according Governor Lawal.
Security forces ambushed Sububu, Thursday, at Kwaren Kirya, Maru local government area, killing him.
